BBC America: Primeval, Anyone Watching?

Hi There,

Does anyone watch BBC America on Saturday nights prime time 9:00 pm EST slot?

They recently finished airing season 2 of "Robin Hood" and have now starting showcasing "Primeval" since last week.

Besides mixing dinosaurs into modern day UK via time portals. There's some sort of alien / ET creature affecting the fabric of time / space on the Earth. Speculation of the teaser show footage says it's an Alien from the Earth long after humanity has been gone.

BBC America has been churning out some decent Sci-Fi & Fantasy as in: Torchwood, Doctor Who, Robin Hood, Life On Mars, etc...

Btw "Life on Mars" will be appearing on ABC this September in the States. Due to the success of the British version that lasted like 2 seasons or so.

They had a good movie which was called "FootBallers Wifes" but they messed that up... now their coming out with crap :p

Hi There,

My cable Tv operator is Comcast where the "Cable on Demand" service. Under the BBC America channel had like 3 "behind the scenes" trailers of how "Primeval" was developed. One showcasing the main cast, another about the plot of the series, and the third one about the CGI and miniature clay model of the main alien / ET nemesis. The 3 behind the scenes trailers only last a few minutes each as a teaser, the max one was like 7 minutes.

Not sure if your local Tv cable operator has an equivalent service of "On Demand" for the regular channel line-up?

Otherwise the Special Features section of the BBC America Primeval website will showcase some of the videos.

They have On Demand at Cox too, which is the service in our local area. Alas, they don't have the high definition version of BBC America yet, but they promise 98 HDTV stations by the end of the year (it's over 30 now).
