    I caught the new episode last night. Nice to see an alien encounter finally. It was interesting how they brought Rush back.

    I agree. Toward the end of the original Stargate series some of the story lines just didn't work for me. This new series has a nice edge to it. It will be interesting to see how they get Rush back after he was left stranded.

    Any Stargate fans out there? I just caught a repeat of the first episode of Stargate Universe. I saw some the later shows but never the first one. I was a fan of the original series however Stargate Atlantis didn't do much for me. The new series seems good so far.

    I remember bits and pieces of the scenes I'm reading as well as names. Asimov used very unique names for his characters. Considering I read the book over thirty years ago I'm pleased with my memory. :)

    I recently reread The Hobbit after not picking it up since I was a teenager. After doing that I decided to reread the Foundation Trilogy after not reading since college. Even after all that time I am surprised by how much of the story is familiar.

    I've seen two episodes so far and the show is great. It is interesting to see where the monotheistic Cylon beliefs in Battlestar got their start.

    It has been a long time since I read the book so here is the Wikipedia entry on the novel. Wikipedia Listing The end has the main character in command position with his father under his command. As I remember the humans were losing the seemingly endless bug war.

    Me too. The premise of Caprica is a nice prequel to the remake series.
