1. Welcome to our forum. Feel free to discuss anything related to science fiction; in particular our great science fiction series. But we're open to all sorts of relevant subjects, because we'd like you to hang out and enjoy yourselves.

About Rockoids II: As some of you know, co-author Grayson Steinberg now lives and works in Madrid, and hence only visits his family during the summer months. Last summer, Gene and Grayson completed Book II, at last, and resumed work on Book III, about which you'll hear more soon. Book II is in final production form, and we await the new cover design. We'll then offer it for sale. Thanks for your patience.

When I was very young, it was generally believed that comics were just casual pursuits for kids. Well, the world has changed, and comics are now the source of material for blockbuster movies and TV shows.

Comic book conventions attract tens of thousands of visitors, including major figures from the entertainment industry.

So what are your favorites? Regular comics? Graphic novels?

Speak and you'll be heard. :)

I like Blacksad. It's Spanish and it has some amazing artwork.

Grayson is fluent in Spanish -- he's already spent time in Spain and will do a work assignment for the Spanish government in Madrid this coming year. Maybe I should ask him to check it out.

That was one of M. Night's better films. And Bruce Willis is always underrated as an actor, and he's done some terrific work.

He's in a slump. His later work doesn't match the older stuff. I hope that changes, because there's an incredible talent there.

Alan Moore's revamp of Swamp Thing, Miracle Man and The Phantom Stranger., Frank Miller's Daredevil. I'm also fond of Jeffry Comb's take on The Question in JLA TAS.
