Our New Automatic Website Title Feature

We did it again. Another new feature for the forum.

This one will automatically convert a simple URL to its title, automatically.

It doesn't affect all the posts we have here now, but will work on new ones.

So, for example, the name of our paranormal radio show will appear automatically when I enter the URL of the site, as follows:

The Paracast with Gene Steinberg and David Biedny (http://www.theparacast.com)

Or our tech radio show at:

The Tech Night Owl LIVE with Gene Steinberg (http://www.techbroadcasting.com)

You don't have to use the Insert Link feature to do that. :)

I realise you may have switched servers but I just noticed some threads here have been zapped :(.
Also over on The Paracast the Thanks tally has been reset. No biggy just an observation and one more question. Though I dont see it this morning,
how do I add a Skype icon to my personal settings.

Actually there wasn't a server change. We updated software, which made the Thanks mod incompatible, so it was disabled. Then we downgraded the software for other reasons, but reactivating that mod cleared the previous database. Don't ask.

Skype? Never tried it. It's a learning process. :)

Always shortly. We need a cover and some minor editorial revisions and it's good to go.

Wow Gene what a golden oppurtunity,

You could do a sort of competition asking listeners and forum members to submit artwork for the cover. You know how talented some of these folks are.
